Shoot Dusty: Prevention is Better Than Cure
8 Nov 09: PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT: This flash animation was meant for education purpose. However, due to some overwhelming responses and because I like picking on Dusty, I might come up with a better version of this game. Better graphics….and more levels. Should I Should I Should I?
Here’s something to share with all eager flash designers. I’ve found this code from the Internet and I wanna share it with all of you. The original one was a bit duller, so to add the interesting part to it, I’ve decided to forcefully use DustyHawk as the model.
You can download the .fla file here. There are a lot of areas where you can fine tune them better cos I’m lazy to do so.
This flash file is to let you understand the basics of a shooting game written using ActionScript 2.0. As a tip, try not to use too many images because that might add up to the filesize.
The flash that you see below is about 107kb, so it’s okay for most Internet connections. If you really want to improve the graphic interface instead of adding to the loading time, try using vector graphics in which Adobe Illustrator will be your best friend.
Oh pssstttt…I also added something to his body…see whether you can spot it or not
